NSE lists Union Bank’s N30bn bonds

The Nigerian Stock Exchange has listed Union Bank of Nigeria Plc’s N30bn10-Year bond.

The NSE said in a notice that the N30bn bond was listed at 16.20 per cent interest rate under the bank’s N100bn debt issuance programme.

Describing the bond as subordinated unsecured fixed rate series 3 bonds, the NSE notified dealing members of the listing of the bond, which took place on Friday.

It said United Capital Securities Limited acted as the stock broker while First Registrars and Investor Services acted as the registrar.

It said the interests would be paid on June 27 and December 27 of each year up to and including the year of maturity.

It added that the book building opened on June 10, 2019 and closed on June 17.
