Detained Deputy Commissioner of Police ( DCP), Abba Kyari and six others have been brought to court for arraignment over alleged drug related offences.

Kyari including four of his colleagues in the Inspector General of Police special Intelligence Response Team (IRT) and two others are to be arraigned on an eighth count charge bordering on hard drug related offences.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA), who is prosecuting the defendants is accusing the defendants of dealing in 17.55 kilograms of cocaine in contrravention of the law
