Mu’azu explained that during the year under review, the command traced some of the major dealers, arrested and prosecuted them.
He said out of the number arrested, the command had secured the conviction of 192 drug cases at the Federal High Court Dutse while other cases are still pending.
The commandant said the command has also embarked on massive public awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and also deployed personnel in all the state borders to curtail drug trafficking in the state.
He appealed to the local government chairmen to cooperate with the agency and provide offices for the immediate deployment of personnel into the local governments.
