THE body of Mrs. Funke Olakunri, daughter of Afenifere leader Chief Reuben Fasoranti, will be interred today.

Mrs. Olakunri will be buried after a funeral service at Saint David’s Anglican Cathedral Church, Ijomu, Akure.

She was killed by suspected gunmen at Kajola village on Benin/Ore road in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Mrs. Olakunri, 58, is survived by an aged father, Pa Fasoranti, and her widower Idowu Olakunri, children and siblings.

The funeral service is expected to be attended by Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi and members of the State Executive Council.

The funeral service will be presided over by the Bishop of Akure Diocese of the Anglican Church, Rev. Simeon Borokini and other Christian leaders.
