Ex-Big Brother Naija 2017 contestant, Cocoice has reacted to actress Mercy Aigbe’s interview, where she revealed her ordeal in the hands of estranged husband, Lanre Gentry.
Cocoice said she has suffered similar situation and did not allow hers to generate so badly but had to run for her dear life.
Her reaction came after she read Aigbe‘s “tell-it-all” interview.
The rapper gave a brief narrative of how she had managed her own domestic violence with a former boyfriend.
According to the former BBN housemate, her ex-boyfriend beat her the first time and begged her, only for him to beat her “like a drum” the next time.
Cocoice said that she called it quit after the second beating.
The reality star enjoined women who are physically abused to leave the relationship and seek help.
In a post she shared on her Instagram page @Cocoiceofficial, the rapper wrote, “OMG I just read Mercy Aigbe’s interview! Pls ladies if he slaps you and you are in a relationship, just break up abeg.
“I was dating this guy, first time he slapped me! He begged! Everyone begged for him! I went back! Second time he beat me like a drum! I never went back! Never.”
