Lagos Aviation Academy Wins Fifth IATA Best Performer Title - Aviation  metric

Lagos Aviation Academy (LAA) again has announced that one of its students has emerged the ‘IATA Best Performer in Nigeria’ in the IATA Foundation in travel and tourism examination for July 2024.

This achievement marks the fifth time that the Academy has produced the top-performing student, solidifying its position as a centre of excellence in aviation training.

Speaking to journalists at the Academy’s new location in Lagos, Head of School, LAA, Bolaji Durojaiye, expressed delight with the student’s performance.

He said: “This accomplishment shows our unwavering commitment to delivering world-class training and dedication to shaping the future of aviation both in Nigeria and beyond.

“Our students’ achievement is not only a reflection of their hard work and dedication but also a testament to the leadership and innovation that Lagos Aviation Academy brings to the industry.”

Commenting, the IATA Best Performer 2024, Oluwafisayomi Layo-Olayemi, described LAA as a very good school with the best instructors who are always ready to support their students.

“The support I got from the school during my training made a difference in my performance. I chose LAA for its affordability and the desire to grow in my career,” he said.

The IATA Best Performer award recognises outstanding performance in aviation training, and Lagos Aviation Academy’s consistent dominance is a reflection of its exceptional faculty, cutting-edge facilities, and rigorous training programmes.

Other courses the Academy offers ranges from; visa application and processing course, basic ticketing and reservation course, basic and advanced flight dispatch course, Amadeus practical training, cabin crew AB-Initio course
