APC to commence campaigns ahead July 20 LG polls

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ebonyi State will, on Friday, June 28, 2024, commence rallies and campaigns ahead of local government elections.

The Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission, EBSlEC, had fixed Saturday, July 20, 2024 for the conduct of the elections in the 13 LGAs and 171 political wards across the state.

These rallies are a crucial part of the party’s preparations for the upcoming LGA and councilorship elections in the state.

This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Ogbuatu Chidi Simbad.

The statement reads: “The APC, as the only political party in Ebonyi State that truly values the voice and opinions of its supporters and citizenry, is fully committed to ensuring that the people’s choice of candidates emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections.

“The party’s democratic and constitutional approach to candidate selection during her primaries has set it apart from other political parties in the state, giving it an edge and earning it the trust and support of the people.

“As the APC kicks off its rallies tomorrow, the party is filled with optimism and confidence that victory is within reach. The party’s grassroots mobilisation efforts, inclusive approach to governance, and commitment to good governance have resonated with the people of Ebonyi State, and they are ready to show their support at the polls.

“The APC in Ebonyi State is ready to showcase its strength, unity, and determination to win in all the 13 LGAs and 171 political wards. The party’s message of progress, development, and inclusivity will be carried to every corner of the state during the rallies, and the party is poised to emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections. Victory is indeed within reach for the APC in Ebonyi State.”
