The Department of State Services has arrested a 23-year-old lady, Fildausi Ahamadu, for allegedly threatening to embark on a suicide bombing mission targeting the judges of the Kano State Election Petitions Tribunal, which recently nullified the election of Governor Abba Yusuf.
A reliable source in the DSS told our correspondent on Tuesday that Ahamadu was picked up following a viral video in which she was captured threatening suicide bombing.
In the clip, the lady, wearing a red cap and speaking in Hausa language, was also heard daring the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Nasiru Gawuna, who won at the tribunal, to disclose his location and risk being bombed.
“You dare not indicate your location, otherwise, I don’t mind striking you with a bomb vest to commit suicide,” she declared.
She also mentioned the name of the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, blaming the outcome of the tribunal on him.
The DSS source said, “We are indeed taking Fildausi Musa Ahamadu to court because these threats should not be taken lightly.”
