Share:

The Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has approved the termination of the appointment of Hon. Kabiru Sahabi Liman as his Special Adviser.

This was contained in a press statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital, by the Secretary to the State Government, (SSG), Alhaji Kabiru Balalabe.

He said that the Governor found it very necessary to terminate the appointment.

According to the statement, this followed a close monitoring exercise, which revealed, amongst other things, that he is grossly incompetent to undertake the responsibilities and public thrust associated with the exalted position of a Special Adviser.

He said the monitoring exercise would be a continuous one, aimed at reinvigorating public service delivery, ensuring public trust and facilitating good governance in the State.

However, the statement did not state the offence committed by the embattled Special Adviser.
