VSKIT partners StarTimes

A video sharing platform, VSKIT, has partnered StarTimes, to host the maiden edition of ‘Voice to Fame.’

VSKIT said in a statement that the competition, which would see eight contestants competing against celebrities for a chance to win a grand prize of N2m, would be aired on July 28, 2019.

It said the Voice to Fame show would feature the re-enactment of classic movies, TV plays, rap battles and lip-sync, in accordance with dialogues taken from clips of movies and TV shows, with focus on vocal delivery and demonstrative facial expressions.

The statement added that popular TV  celebrities such as Charles Okocha, Nkechi Blessing, Mide Martins and Yakubu Mohammed, would participate in the competition

The Marketing Manager, VSKIT Nigeria, Sean Shu, was quoted as saying, “As the title sponsor of the ‘Voice to Fame’ competition, our aim is to provide the right platform where young talents across Africa with remarkable vocal skills and star potential, can be given a shot at the limelight.

“Beyond this, VSKIT will continue to develop and deploy varied talent-focused initiatives, training programmes and co-branding campaigns that will create super stars out of budding talents,” he added.

According to the statement, the 13-episode TV show will feature four contestants each week, with viewers having the rights to vote their best performances.
